I'm glad you've been enjoying the story so far. :-) I liked the idea of basing most of the story on Earth and having Carson and Rodney stay with Jeannie and get a taste of that family atmosphere. And, no, Jeannie hasn't had the best of times, which is one reason why I liked the idea of having her and Rodney re-connect on her turf.

I'm going to try to post the next part some time in January -- at the latest. I know I should have had something posted by now, but I got kind of side-tracked with another fic I was compelled to write. However, holiday madness aside, I'm hoping to get some serious work done on the story in December.
