Heh, I uh already started plundering your own recs. Hey, if someone writes stuff I like to read it's a damn good bet they read stuff I'd like too.

Well, that's great! I posted the recs hoping that someone (other than me) would be able to use them. If you found some worthwhile stories through my recs then I'm happy to hear it. :-)

I'm also rec-ing your story to a couple of friends who don't generally go for the genre but are being wooed in by my assurance of excellent plot and characterization.

That's awesome (like David Hewlett awesome)! Thank you so much! I hope your friends enjoy it. I really appreciate you recommending the story! :-D

And can I just thank you for giving the best Carson like ever? Way too many people turn him into the medical version of Mr. Scott, but you avoid that superbly while never losing site of his essential Scottish-ness. I also think I like your Jeannie better than the one we get on tv. :)

Oh and of course your Rodney is damn near perfect. I hear every single line and it's authentic. The man's quite a challenge to write but you do it very, very well.

I'm very touched and flattered! :-D I've also got a swelled head that's threatening to float up to the ceiling! *g* Thank you very much for your generous praise. I tried to make Carson and Rodney sound in-character, so I'm really glad they sound authentic to you. As for my version of Jeannie, I've been pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback. She's very different from the canon version, so it's nice that people still like her.
