Yeah it took me a while to get into SGA, it was tough to get over just how...misogynistic McKay came off when he was originally introduced and interacting with Sam. I had to shake that, and seeing that he could no longer play the "penis card" against Teyla or Elizabeth helped a lot.

But back to vids, I'll definitely check out those you recced, but may I also recommend my all time favorite vid Flagpole Sitta: A Decade of Daniel Whump which is absolutely brilliant. I have yet to see any fan vid that even comes close to working as well as this one, it's sort of the ultimate in SG-1 vids and I'd dearly love to find the equivalent in SGA.
