Yeah, there's been a LOT of snow. It seems to have stopped for the moment, though I think we're expecting more later tonight.

oi I also live in a basement in Toronto, though my window isn't so drifted up (because of the fence blocking the wind I think)

Yes, I'm guessing that the fence offered some protection from the snow, tollers_and_jack. The first picture in this post is a view of the front lawn of the building. As there's no fencing around it, it's completely open. The second picture is a view onto the narrow alley on the one side of the building. I think snow probably builds up quickly because there's less space. Snow also piles up against my window when the snow plough goes through.
