Hey! I wuz misquoted! I never said "I don't fuckin' believe it." (I may have said "You're fuckin' kidding me." I may have said it more than once. *g*)

Ah, I'm glad you had a good time. I did try to start some sort of post, but I was not so much with the coherent (I did finally fall asleep around three a.m.). It was quite the fantastic evening. Highlights for me included the four-part harmony on the chorus of Here Comes the Flood that gave me goosebumps; the opening to Native Son in Welsh; the acoustic and off-mike Put Out the Lights (nearly worth the price of admission alone, that); When I'm up I can't get down (thud) and of course, the cello.

I actually met Mr. Doyle about ten years ago when they were shooting a video down by the lake (they put out a general call for extras), and that evening we were having a house party, and one of my housemates knew Alan and Sean and instructed me to invite them. So there's a fun bit of trivia and ten seconds of your life that you'll never get back.

And it was most kind of you to gloss over the fact that as soon as we got on the subway I managed to turn into a burbling loon.
