Oh, that was hysterical. I would offer specifics but there are just too many! (But ... John convinces Beckett! Biro! The Marine training! Biro! Taking Todd for a walk! Rodney thought it was All Just A Dream!)
Actually, that was pretty specific! Thank you very much! :-) It's always great when people tell me which elements of a fic worked for them, especially when it comes to something like humour. Just because I think a particular gag is funny doesn't mean anyone else will! *g*
I'm particularly pleased that you included the part about Keller wanting to change Rodney and John's point that Rodney shouldn't have to change his personality. That's my personal biggest problem with McKeller. (I don't hate Keller, but the relationship makes no sense to me.)
I'm glad you like that aspect of the story. Like you, I don't hate Keller, but I hate what the McKeller relationship has done to McKay. I realize that he can't be an easy guy to live with, but it seems so stupid to change a personality that fans have come to love for the sake of some soppy romance. I mean, if the writers couldn't figure out how to put McKay into a relationship (and retain his identity) then why couldn't they have just left him alone?
I'm going to ignore how jealous people who can write humor make me and confine myself to: Fantastic job, love it!
Thanks once again! That's extremely kind of you! :-) If it's any consolation, I'm constantly jealous of how talented other writers are. There are days when I wonder whether I should be writing at all! *g*
