Love how Lester was so determined to help out and track, especially the squirrel bit!

Hee, hee, hee! I was really hoping that someone would like the squirrel bit! *g*

Thwacks Danny for opening his big mouth without thinking.

Well, at least it wasn't deliberate... ;-)

Thwacks everyone else except Abby for their reactions.

Ah, good. You noticed that. I know you suspected that Abby already knew about them. I think Abby's lack of reaction confirms your suspicions. :-)

Thwacks Abby for her explanation to Danny, he might need to be hit over the head to understand Lester's actions, but she could have been more tactful. She's seen how Lester's reacted to all the dog stuff and then says he is a dog. (shakes head)

Well, in Abby's defence, I think she was more focused on getting through to Danny and helping him understand why Lester did what he did, etc. I don't think she realized what kind of impact it would have on Lester. I'm sure she would have tried to pull Danny out of earshot if she did.

I don't blame him walking away from them, love "Lester stood up slowly, trying to ignore the tremors coursing through him. He might not have a voice, or even a hint of independence, but he still had legs and, by God, he was going to use them." It is just so Lester.

Thank you! I'm glad that it still sounded like Lester, even if the normally unflappable Lester was having a bit of a meltdown...

I do hope we get to see the adventures of Dog!Lester, with his kids? Plus the angst of the team over finding him. But in the end, the ARC is the only place where Lester can hopefully become human again.

Well, I can neither deny nor confirm your theories. However, you were right about Abby, so who knows...? *g*

Awww, *huggles Lester and slips him a (doggy) choc-drop*

I'm sure Lester appreciates the huggles and the (doggy) choc-drop! Thanks for that and the kind review, [livejournal.com profile] knitekat! :-)
