It's not clear from the flashback, but I think I can share this information without it being a plot spoiler. I had pictured the dog coming from a puppy farm (a purely fictitious puppy farm) where the animals were blasted with hoses when they needed to be washed. Anna/Helen is innocent for once. *g*
I wonder how Wet!Doggy!Lester will greet Danny? [I have some guesses.]
