I totally recommend joining that community. I've had it that I've been looking for a fic for weeks and then I ask and it gets found. Usually within minutes too.

I just joined! :-) From what I could see from the posts I read, it looks like people do get quick responses to their fic queries. It also seems like a good way to find some hidden gems I might not have known about before.

Did you find the fic you were looking for?

No, not yet, though I haven't really had time to search for it the last couple of days. I think I'll test the waters with sgastoryfinders tomorrow and see if anyone can locate the fic in question. From what I remember, it wasn't written all that long ago. In fact, I bet I'll be able to find it on my hard drive once I learn the title of the story. I have a "New Fic" folder I store fic in. Unfortunately, I don't clear it out as often as I should and end up losing track of stories I want to keep.
