Peter Davison's HILARIOUS Fiftieth Anniversary Spoof!

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] alysscarlet, I was able to watch Peter Davison's HILARIOUS and absolutely priceless Doctor Who fiftieth anniversary spoof sooner than I expected. It's 30 minutes and features a lot of familiar faces. In fact, I was amazed at the number of cameos, all of which were GOLD. Anywaaaaaay, it's called The Five(ish) Doctors (in case you hadn't heard), and you can find it here:

Have you ever seen the 20th anniversary special, "The Five Doctors"? The Tom Baker gag was lifted straight from there. Baker refused to be in the special, so they used clips from an incomplete episode that never aired. That old clip they used was the one from "The Five Doctors" (when the Fourth Doctor is captured in the time vortex), so it's even funnier to see the same thing happening again here. *g*

The first ever episode of Doctor Who I EVER saw was The Five Doctors. It was an attempt by a certain Torontian I was staying with to introduce me to DW. She failed at that occasion, mainly due to language problems at my end. I couldn't make much sense of it. But her enthousiasm was big enough for me to settle down one Christmas eve to watch Voyage of the Doomed to give the show another try. And that's the episode that got me hooked. :-)

*Smacks forehead* I completely forgot about that! *g* Well, I'm glad that the Torontonian's enthusiasm was big enough for you to take a second chance on the show with "Voyage of the Doomed". :-D
