Not Off to a Great Start -- Even By Monday Morning Standards

Today hasn't been great so far. I ended up eating a bowl of cereal with sour milk, found a cockroach in my bathroom, and was half an hour late for work because Toronto has finally received its first real snowfall.

I want to go home, despite the cockroach in the bathroom. I tried to make a deal with the cockroach. I've asked it if it could do one of the following before I return home tonight: go back down the drain, be in the sink so I can flush it down the drain, or hide somewhere I can't see it so I can pretend it's gone down the drain. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that it will still be exactly where I left it next time I walk into the bathroom...

yeah, cockroaches (or penisroaches as we called them back in the day on an X-Files board that wouldn't let use cock -- it was funnier than just using the ole 0 for an o) are very uncooperative and never do what you want them to.

We have snow again here, winter I'm afraid, has arrived.

LOL! I didn't realize there was an X-Files board that banned the use of the word "cock"! I think even cockroaches are more cooperative than that! *g* Well, thankfully, there was no sign of the cockroach when I got home. I don't know if it went back down the drain or if it's just hiding, but I'm grateful that I can't see it. *g*

I'm sorry you've also got the nasty white stuff. Yes, as you say, winter is definitely here.
