“Coronavirus disease 2019 is an infectious disease that was first identified in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and has resulted in a world-wide pandemic that has lasted several months. The disease is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 and symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties, and fatigue. COVID-19 is mainly spread between people who are in close proximity to each other, which humans have a tendency to be. Frequent hand washing, social distancing and quarantine are some measures that are being employed to prevent further infection. In this province, it is mandatory for people to wear a mask or other suitable cloth covering in public indoor settings in order to reduce the spread of this disease.”




“Is COVID-19 the reason why you’re standing so far away from the rest of us?”




“No, Vulcans cannot contract the disease. I simply approve of the practice of social distancing.”




“Wait a minute. You said that people could reduce the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask. Why can’t we do that?”




“Because rusty_armour can’t sew and claims that she couldn’t make such tiny masks even if she could. However, she did say that we could wish jackycomelately a very happy birthday as long as we practised social distancing.”
