fengirl88 has just posted the fill for my Sherlock/Lestrade prompt / the "question/request" square on her cottoncandy_bingo card! This story is brilliant, funny and steamy, so you really should check it out! You can find it on both LJ and AO3.

I know I haven't posted anything about my vacation yet, but I'm still putting together a photo album (complete with captions) on Photobucket. I'll post the link here when I'm done and maybe include some trip highlights as well. Things are just going slower than they should because I've gone and caught a cold. Thankfully, the symptoms didn't manifest until after I came home.

What is this bingo thing? I've never heard of it before. Today, another LJ friend asked about bingo/prompts for fics. Is it a sort of community? Just curious. I'm afraid it's going to be a while until I can get back to writing anything again.

At the moment I'm completely exhausted. We've had a really tiring week. Visited the big annual book fair - as exhibitors. It wasn't much of a success, unfortunately, but at least some people took an interest in our books.

From what I've seen, bingo is something that fic writers either come up with themselves or is a challenge issued through a fic community/writing circle. In fengirl88's case, she took drabble/ficlet requests from the first ten people who responded to a certain entry (http://fengirl88.livejournal.com/90077.html) on her LJ.

I'm sorry the annual book fair was so exhausting and not as successful as you would have liked. However, it's great that some people did take an interest in your books. Sometimes, word of mouth can make a big difference. :-)

About the book fair - we have some ideas for updating the homepage and for a few other things as well, so I suppose it wasn't a complete waste of time and money.

I've been meaning to email you and E about a certain birthday we still need to celebrate. ;-) My schedule's pretty flexible at the moment, so it's probably a matter of seeing which dates work best for both you and E.
