Fandom Auction for a Friend in Need

I came across this on neevebrody's LJ and said I'd help spread the word. mischief5 is on a very limited budget and her laptop (her only means of connecting to the internet) is about to bite the dust. mischief5 is active in fandom as an artist, writer and beta, so it would be a shame if we were to lose her. That's why her friends are holding an auction to raise money for a new computer. I'll admit that I don't know mischief5, but my heart still goes out to her and I want to help.

For anyone who might be interested, you can go here to find the auction and get more information. The auction is taking place from July 16th to July 20th. You can place bids on offers that have already been made or make offers of your own. You can offer artwork, fic, podfic or betas. I've chosen to offer my beta services. You can also skip the auction altogether and simply make a small monetary donation through the auction site.

Last thing. I need to point out that mischief5 doesn't know about this yet, and the auction organizers would like to keep it that way. If you decide to spread the word yourself, please use a filtered post if mischief5 is on your flist.
