raven714. It probably won’t make much sense if you haven’t read Thrall as it takes place directly after it and deals with the events of that story. Obviously, this second installment has come quite a bit after Christmas, so I apologize for that. I had hoped to post it in February (at the latest), but my two night courses have been keeping me pretty busy. I also apologize for any inaccuracies that crop up in the scenes taking place at the Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel. I’ve never been fortunate enough to visit the place, so I’ve had to rely on photos, descriptions, and maps of the layout that were often confusing because they weren’t very detailed or included new sections of the abbey (such as the Merveille) that didn’t exist in the early thirteenth century. If you’re familiar with the Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel and come across any glaring errors, could you please let me know? Then, if possible, I will try to fix them. This takes place shortly after The Knights of the Apocalypse.
