A New Fic -- And I Don't Have to Write It!

I found out today that I had the winning bid for one of the items at the David Hewlett MSF Birthday Auction! This is an auction that one UK fan has been holding for the last couple of years as Doctors Without Borders/Medecins san Frontieres is David Hewlett's favourite charity. Anyway, I bid on a gen SGA or Doctor Who story by Enola Jones and won! Yes, for £6 I will have myself a new fic and won't have to do any of the work! Woo hoo! Man, I should have thought of this years ago! It could have saved me hours of frustration!

*Clears throat* In case I didn't mention it, this is for charity!

I hadn't even thought of the exchange rate! Woo hoo! Fic that costs just a little bit more than a tea and muffin at Timmy's! And I got it without even rolling up the rim to win! I seriously have to check out other fandom-related charity auctions to see if there's any more fanfic to bid on! This could become a whole new way of life for me...But probably not. *g*

Actually, I was wondering if I could pay someone to write that too...Just kidding. Mostly. *g* Well, I've been working on it, though it's been going slower than I'd like. However, I'm hoping to get back on track this weekend.
