This Isn't an April Fool's Joke -- I Actually FINISHED My Fic!!!

Well, the rough draft, anyway. I mean, I'm not exactly sure about the ending. I might have to add to it. Oh, and I think I have at least 15-20 pages left to type because I write in longhand. However, as far as I'm concerned, these things are a part of the revision stage (a.k.a. the final draft). Hey, did I mention that I finished my fic? *Begins to jump up and down in excitement* I finished my fic! I finished my fic! I finally finished my fuckin' fic!

You know, I'm happy about this (as my mood icon will indicate), but I'm not over-the-moon ecstatic. I suppose it could be because I'm tired, or maybe it just hasn't hit me yet. Or could it be...post-partum depression?!! *Uses what's left of her brain cells to ponder the question* No, somehow I don't think that condition applies despite the unusually long gestation period. Besides, I won't be partumed from it until the final draft is done and the story is posted. For now I shall continue to celebrate the completedness of the rough draft. And read some fic...Someone else's fic!

Ah! Okay! It's been a while since I've seen that episode, though I think it would be impossible for me to ever forget the Angel karaoke version of "We Are the Champions". It all makes sense now. :-)
