No worries about missing the post. I was hoping I could inspire people to write alternate endings, or at least let me know they hated same parts of the final episode that I did.
We're out there, even if we're not quite as vocal as others. ;)
Well, it's comforting to know! I have a tendency to over-react to things, so I'm glad that other people were pissed off about Enemy. :-)
My husband wanted to give me happy pills to get me to stop ranting after Enemy...aired. I kept going on and on about the gaping plot holes, the shoddy writing, and the HOMG icky sappiness. I kept rewatching the very end in the hopes that John or Teyla would lightly thwap Rodney upside the head, or Ronon would throw something at him... or even that someone... ANYONE... would make a sarcastic comment. Alas, no luck. *le sigh*
Well, I might have been reading too much into Joe Flanigan's body language, but Sheppard's "Nice view" sounded a bit awkward and sarcastic, as if he were desperately trying to draw attention from the sap-fest going on with McKay and Keller. And by the way his arms were crossed and he was staring straight ahead of him, I thought he looked kinda pissed. However, once again, I'm probably reading too much into it.
Which is why I'm totally with you in that the show is OURS now. Until they make the movie(s)... IF they make the movies. I'm just a wee bit jaded after getting shafted when Skiffy crapped on and then killed The Invisible Man. Who, me bitter? >.< -----}-@
Yeah, I probably should have mentioned that the show was only ours until the movie(s). However, we'll still own it in between. And if the SGA movies are anything like the SG-1 movies, there will probably be some more fix-it jobs required. *g*
