I didn't think it could get any worse, but it did. Look at the picture below closely.
We found the kitty on Mount Pleasant and couldn't resist bringing him home.
Well, I couldn't resist bringing him home because I'd been hoping to
find a feline friend for McKay for quite some time. I'm kind of sick that way.
The cat doesn't have a name yet. McKay's thinking that he might have to let
Sheppard name him because he can see that Sheppard has already fallen into a jealous snit.
Here's McKay and his new cat posing with Harry the succulent.
And McKay and his feline assistant examining my new alarm clock.
Oh, and my personal favourite: McKay cuddling with kitty in front of the TARDIS! :-)

McKay's new kitty is cute.
And I love the way Shep's BDU fits in so seamlessly with the Enterprise uniforms. [Or is it always 'BDUs', plural, like 'pants'?]
Yeah, that's what appeals to me about getting a BBC Guy of Gisborne Action Figure. His black leather ensemble would be appropriate to nearly any context. Stick a pirate hat on him, and he'd be 'good to go'! [Sadly, Capt. Jack Sparrow's pirate hat doesn't fit on Shep, due to Teh Hair.]
Glad your weekend was such fun!

Well, super cool or super insane... *g* I just couldn't believe it when I walked past my action figures and saw that they were arranged in that bizarre pyramid. My mom was sneaky enough to arrange the poses while I was in the shower this morning. She was assuming I wouldn't notice as quickly as I did because I have something of a reputation for being a bit oblivious...Anywaaaaay, as soon as I saw the boys in their new formation, I knew I had to get a picture.

He is surprisingly cute, isn't he? We also came across a tiger and cheetah cub, but they weren't quite as adorable. BTW if you're looking for critters to go along with your own action figures, I highly recommend Mastermind (http://www.mastermind.ca/store/default.asp?rd=638042629).

I think I've usually heard (or read) "BDUs" when it comes to the Stargate universe, but I think "BDU" would probably be acceptable too.

I can definitely understand how you might be tempted by a BBC Guy of Gisborne, especially given his black leather ensemble! Not only would it be appropriate in practically any context, but it would probably look fabulous with Jack Sparrow's pirate hat! :-) I'm sorry that the pirate hat doesn't fit on Sheppard. I should have known that one day Teh Hair would prove to be his downfall... *g*
