Hey, tazzles! I ended up having a pretty crazy week myself, so I understand completely. I assumed you were probably busy, so no worries. Besides, better late than never. :-)
What an ending! I like the way everyone thinks Rodney's overreacting (such a Rodney thing to do) and the way they go along with it. I adore Shepherd and his protectiveness of Rodney and the baby. And I also love Carson going back to Jeannie. What a brilliant way to end it all.
Thank you very much! I'm so happy you enjoyed the ending! I have to confess that I got a kick out of everyone's reactions to Rodney's paranoia and really had fun playing with that. I don't think I really had to put much thought into Sheppard's protective streak. It seems like such an inherent part of his character and it had reached the point in the story where this seemed to be his natural behaviour towards Rodney and his sweet pea. *g* I was hoping that people would be glad to see Carson returning to Jeannie. I had pretty much had that little reunion planned from the beginning, so it was nice to finally be able to write it.
