I've just gotten back from a 4 day weekend in Adelaide. We drove over, which made it even more crazy!
Well, then, I can definitely understand why you couldn't read the final installment before now! From little I know of Australian geography, I believe Adelaide is a bit of a drive from Melbourne.

In some ways, I think Carson deserved a happy ending more than anyone else considering everything he did for Rodney. I would have been ashamed to post the final installment if he hadn't lived happily ever after in the end. *g*
