Oh, no! I'm sorry if your heart broke a little after reading this, though I suppose that was kind of the effect I was going for... *g* If it makes you feel any better, Danny and Abby hadn't intended to be cruel. I don't think they had any idea what kind of impact their words would have on Lester.
And you really hit on what would bother Lester (or anyone) about the whole thing (the not being able to speak, etc etc).
