Why, thank you, knitekat! :-) Considering that you're basically the reason why this story came into being, I'm glad you were happy with the ending! It would have sucked if you'd been disappointed!
Loved that Jo and Danny have been sitting with Lester, Jo's just brilliant.
I just couldn't see Jo not being there. It wouldn't matter that they're divorced. She'd be there as long as she was needed. Of course, being at the hospital gave her a chance to grill - er - get to know Danny. *g*
LOL over Lester's version of Incy Wincy Spider, it is just great.
I wasn't sure if anyone would find this song funny, so I'm happy you like it! :-)
And Danny and Lester are back together again - or not, as never really split up as far as Danny's concerned.
Yes, that whole "You're not a dog anymore" card worked very well in Danny's favour, not that Lester seemed to be complaining! *g*
Yay for the dog going home with Lester's family; clever dog too, wanting to be called Lester. Loved how Lester acted as if he didn't like the dog and then letting him stay on the bed with him.
And you guessed the outcome correctly! I couldn't say anything at the time, though I was very tempted to tell you that you were right about where the dog would end up! *g* Anywaaaay, I thought it would be funny if the dog insisted on being called Lester. And as we all know Lester had a soft spot for the Columbian Mammoth, I'm not surprised that he allowed the dog to stay on the bed to recuperate. ;-)
LOL over Abby going to pet Lester and his hard-suffering allowing her to do so.
I'm glad you got a kick out of that! I came up with that idea pretty early on, so it was great to finally write that particular moment.
Yay for Lorraine taking pity on her poor boss, and loved the bit with Abby at the end - squirrel! and walkies!
I felt bad that Lorraine hadn't been in the story more, so I decided to work her into the final scene. Actually, she pretty much worked herself in! *g* And, as I was concerned about the ending, I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed the lines about the squirrels and "walkies"! :-)
Thank you for being such a loyal reader and taking the time to leave such kind feedback every week! Oh, and a big thanks for inspiring me in the first place by writing Under The Moonlight (http://knitekat.livejournal.com/3356.html)! :-D
