Like many people on LJ, I bid on items during the recent help_pakistan charity auction. In the end, I managed to win two stories -- one of which has now been written! In And In Between

I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to danglingdingle and point out that she not only went beyond the minimum word requirement but wrote the story well before the October 1st deadline. What's even more astonishing is that she sent me the story when I'm still struggling to get a copy of my donation receipt from Unicef. In fact, I've given up on Unicef and (on the advice of a help_pakistan mod) now plan to send danglingdingle a credit card statement with non-essential information blacked out. If I send it tonight then I'm bound to receive my Unicef receipt tomorrow. *g*
