Yeah, I should read fic warnings more often but sometimes it`s nice to be surprised. I think what`m really looking forward to is how you`re going to medically explain everything. I mean, it`s not like men really have any SPACE in thier bodies for babies to grow in.
Normally the thought of MPreg fics make me a bit squeamish. I think men are just as capable of the nurturing nature required to have kids, I just... the biology makes me go *ggeeeeeugh* when I think about it. I like this fic because it surprised me, and I was already invested with the characters and the plot before I was surprised.
Also, you do it in a believeable way. None of this "Ooooh, John! Lookit the magical Ancient device and don`t you just want to have a kid with me, you studly manny-man, and I can knit booties and won`t it be so MAGICAL?" I hate it when people do that to charactersm, especailly Rodney.
I also like that I can, from your fic, infer that Rodney`s been sent to Earth forthe duration of his pregnancy, possibly permanently and that Carson agreed to go with him to monitor (good friendship there), and I`m sure it must be KILLING Rodney that either John didn`t or couldn`t come or that Rodney may not be allowed to go back to Atlantis.
