I NEVER Thought *This* Would Happen!

I NEVER thought this would happen, but three of my stories (A Private View, Buckingham & Shaftesbury: The Schemes and the Theatrics and The Boathouse (particularly The Boathouse)) were mentioned in an academic paper called Heritage Film Audiences 2.0: Period Film Audiences and Online Film Cultures. For anyone who's curious, the relevant material can be found in pages 36-37 of the pdf document. Some other very worthy works are also analyzed, including [livejournal.com profile] fengirl88's The Bad Old Songs (on pages 37-38 of the pdf document).

I have to confess that I howled when I read what Dr. Monk wrote about The Boathouse -- mostly due to sheer shock and joy and not because I disagreed with what she wrote. *g*

That's wonderful! I'll take a look at the document.

Thank you very much, [livejournal.com profile] crimsoncorundum! :-D I hope you enjoy the paper if you decide to read it. Dr. Monk is hoping to receive some feedback, so maybe you could send her a quick message if you like the paper. Her email address is near the end of the document.
