Yeah, I suppose Minerva is completely adorable, despite her appalling taste in laps...Actually, she headed there in the first place because of my (adopted) brother's beard. It was all white and fluffy, so poor Minerva probably thought it was her mommy. *g*

If you'd seen the picture of him with the white beard...Nah. You'd probably still feel the same way. *g* And I'm sure Minerva doesn't mind at all as she loves to have a warm place to sleep. With the Santa suit and the lamp on, I'm sure B's lap was very cozy.

Yeah, okay. He likes cats -- but that doesn't mean he's related to me. There are a lot of cat people out there who aren't related to me. Besides, if Minerva wants to sit somewhere, you don't usually get much choice in the matter. Sometimes, she simply wants the chair you're sitting in and sometimes it's for the warmth. I'm sure that Santa outfit must have looked nice and toasty to our little princess. Oh, and the cat too, of course. *g*

Well, in Minerva's defence, she's a Maine Coon Cat, so she's naturally large. Maine Coon Cats have long bodies and big, fluffy coats. A lot of what you're seeing is fluff, especially that bushy tail of hers. *g*

I have to dig up a photograph of my cousin Brad. Your brother looks like a younger version of him. I could also see my cousin (who's a really good guy) wearing the suit! I have to say though, cat hair plus Santa suit equals badness! Although they both look very comfy...

Apparently, my dad bought the suit and talked my brother into wearing it. And it definitely equals badness! You have no idea how terrifying it is to have "Santa" appear in the living room when you're still struggling to wake up. It seriously creeped me out.

Although they both look very comfy...

I'm not sure about B, but Minerva was certainly comfy. She was purring and kneading B's Santa beard as if it were her mommy. Then, as you can see by the picture, she fell happily to sleep. I'll admit that it is nice to have her curled up on you until you start losing the feeling in your legs and/or your muscles begin to cramp. *g*

All brothers are adopted except mine. That illusion was crushed one year when waiting at the airport. Friends of his came up I had never met before and let me know that he and his family had made the plane and were in customs. Apparently, we look a lot a like. This despite him being the only redhead in the family (well, until he married another one and had a redheaded kid).
