Multi-Fandom Fic Recs

The main purpose of this post is to draw attention to a couple of stories that I feel have been neglected, but I'm also on a Pirates of the Caribbean kick, so I'm going to provide some fic recs for that fandom as well.
Last night/early this morning, I came across this story while searching out some Maurice fic recs for a friend who only just saw the film. As I was going through AO3's fine collection, I came across a story that was posted less than a week ago. It hasn't had a lot of hits yet and barely any kudos. I think it's a really good story and deserves more attention. It's Someone Else's Now by aldiara. It's Maurice/Alec and definitely more adult in nature. However, I admire the way it deals with the issues both men are grappling with -- both in terms of the present and the future. The second story was posted exactly a week ago and is also Forster, though it's A Room with a View this time. For Rupert Graves's birthday,

As I mentioned earlier, I'm on a Pirates of the Caribbean kick. This time, the only thing that triggered it was the Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl soundtrack. Of course, I can probably also blame Baroness Orczy for weakening my resolve when it comes to all things swashbuckly. Anywaaaaaay, it wasn't long before I was searching for Sparrington fic and trying to block out the harsh fact that Norrington was killed off in the third film. Fortunately, this time around, I found two Norrington resurrection fics. Huzzah! And the writers managed to bring Norrington back in ways that were clever and fitting with the whole crazy POTC universe.
The first rec (and my favourite recent find) is mundungus42's Naked to Mine Enemies. Not only is it Sparrington, but it's got a killer plot, characters at their kick-ass best, humour, and historical details that would put a lot of other writers to shame.
The second rec is also Sparrington. It deals with similar themes and, yet, is still quite different. Definitely worth it for the interaction between Sparrow and Norrington and its use of myth and legend. It's Hippediva's Never Say Die. It's actually been around for a while, so I'm not sure why I didn't get around to reading it before now. She's also written other POTC stories that I'll have to check out.
The third and last rec is Penknife's Shipwreck. It's not a resurrection fic but an AU. The premise of the story is that Norrington goes to Shipwreck Cove with Elizabeth instead of being killed. Again, this has some great interraction between Sparrow and Norrington and is a lot of fun in general.
