Massive Kudos for AO3!

Although I've only contributed 35 works towards this total (the last one being just over a year ago), I'm still thrilled about this milestone and proud to be a part of AO3! Congratulations to everyone who has helped AO3 get this far!

I think 35 works, of high quality, is a big deal, so congratulations to you for your contribution!
Well...I wouldn't say they were all high quality, but I appreciate your extremely kind compliment all the same! Thank you! :-D

Date: 2014-02-16 06:14 pm (UTC)And speaking of something else fandom-related - we have been able to find Murdoch Mysteries on Netflix. I especially loved that episode when Murdoch had to go under cover as a gay man. It was hilarious.

Date: 2014-02-16 09:21 pm (UTC)It is a pretty staggering statistic! I mean, I've read a lot of fic on AO3 over the years, but it's nothing compared to the number of fanworks that have been posted! As you say, it really is something to celebrate! :-)
I checked my account and it turns out I have contributed 29 fics. Well done on your 35 fics!
Ah, yes, but you haven't posted all of your fic on AO3, while I've posted most of mine. In terms of completed fic, you beat me hands down! You're the one who should be congratulated! :-D

Oh, that's wonderful! I'm so glad you've been enjoying the series! :-) Watching Murdoch go under cover as a gay man was hilarious. I think one of the show's strengths is its comedy.

Date: 2014-02-16 10:22 pm (UTC)I have a count of 35 as well, although I suppose it is technically 36... one is still marked anon. I hit that a little more recently with my rather ambitious Yuletide. :)

Date: 2014-02-18 08:24 pm (UTC)And congrats on your sixteen! I think sixteen is an awesome number considering that you haven't been writing fic that long. My 35 represents more years of fic than I'd care to say. *g*
However, I have 204 subscriptions! I wonder what the record for subscriptions is? I'm sure I'm a piker, but I'd love to know.
If 204 isn't the record, it should be! That is seriously impressive loyalty on your part! :-D I only have 8 subscriptions -- and at least a couple of those were me clicking on "subscription" by accident when downloading fic. I do have 95 bookmarks, which isn't as impressive as 204 subscriptions, I know. *g*
YAY for a million works! It's so strange to think of a time when it didn't exist!
I KNOW! I'm not sure how I even managed to find fic before AO3. I'm there practically every day at some point to check my favourite tags. May AO3 have millions and millions more fanworks in the future! :-)
