I knew that even if I managed to squeeze all of my recs into one entry, I'd probably need more space in the future. So…

Animals and/or Transformations

Twenty Four Hours With A Rodneysaur by Moonloon ([livejournal.com profile] maryavatar). Illustrations by [livejournal.com profile] spaggel.
Additional illustrations by Adora Spintriae and Moonloon ([livejournal.com profile] maryavatar).

(One of my absolute favourite stories ever! This is more funny and adorable than I can say! You must read it if you haven't checked it out already!)

Checkmate Verse Series by [livejournal.com profile] beadattitude

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Ooooooh! I love this ongoing series aussi! Sheppard is turned into a cat, and, while, I usually prefer to see McKay doing the transforming, Sheppard makes a very good feline. Plus, McKay gets to look after him, which makes McKay happy because he's a cat person. And [livejournal.com profile] beadattitude obviously knows cats because she writes Cat!Sheppard frighteningly well!)

When John Met Rodney by [livejournal.com profile] bethynyc

(Genfic. Het. Ronon/Teyla. This is short but funny and sweet. For once, no one is transformed into an animal: our heroes start off that way. Rodney is Ronon's marmalade Scottish Fold, and John is Teyla's stray alley cat. When Ronon and Teyla decide to move in together, neither cat is happy with the decision. The fur almost flies. Literally.)

The Trouble With Tribbles by MrsHamill ([livejournal.com profile] mrshamill)

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Speaking of cats, McKay finds a kitten-like creature (a lesser genet) on a planet the team visits and insists on taking it back to Atlantis. Naturally, Sheppard hates McKay's new pet at first sight. *g*)

The Wheel, Atlantis, Wars, And So On by Speranza ([livejournal.com profile] cesperanza)

(Or Ee-ee-eee! as [livejournal.com profile] jackycomelately calls it. Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Hilarious and great fun. McKay is turned into a dolphin, which basically says it all!)

Once Upon a Furry Octopus by [livejournal.com profile] skoosiepants

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Funny, adorable and totally engaging. I dare you not to fall completely in love with Ernie!)

And They Lived Happily Ever After by [livejournal.com profile] skoosiepants

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Equally wonderful sequel to Once Upon a Furry Octopus.)

Critter!Verse by Idyll

(McKay/Sheppard/Dex/Emmagan…I think. AU. I only just came across this series as someone was searching for it on [livejournal.com profile] sgastoryfinders. The three stories in this series (The Kitten Invasion, The Vet Trip, and Shawshank for Ferrets) are pretty fluffy, but there are some rather funny and endearing moments as well. And, okay, it's true. I can't seem to resist stories with kittens: this series has seven of them! *g*)

What Happens in the Clubhouse by [livejournal.com profile] skoosiepants

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. McKay, Sheppard, Ronon and Dr. Ashburn are turned into children after they piss off the Loqui. Hilarious and utterly adorable.)

The Knights of the Pegasus Galaxy vs. The Chicken Pox by Devil Doll ([livejournal.com profile] devildoll)

(Not quite slashy but sort of McKay/Sheppardish. Set in the Clubhouse Universe. Definitely worth reading if you like What Happens in the Clubhouse.)

Stuck by Kolyaaa!

(When an Ancient device is set off, McKay is turned into a little kid and Teyla is turned into an old woman. Most of the fun in this story comes from seeing an adult McKay stuck in a little kid's body.)

You're Pretty Good Looking (for a girl) by [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone

(Slash. Sort of. McKay/Sheppard. McKay and Cadman switch bodies and have to deal with the consequences when it looks like they won't be able to switch back. What I like about this story is that it isn't just played for humour (though the story is very funny at times), but is a fairly serious look at what would happen if a man and woman switched bodies and how it would affect their daily lives. McKay, in particular, struggles with finding himself in someone else's body and has a very difficult time accepting the situation.)

Baby Rodney Fic by Diana [livejournal.com profile] ladyflowdi

(Genfic. Hurt/Comforty. Ongoing series. McKay is transformed into a baby and Sheppard ends up looking after him. Yes, yes, I know, but I just couldn't resist the cute. This is one of the most adorable series I've ever read.)

McKay/Carter

Free Verse by [livejournal.com profile] dashamte

(McKay/Carter friendship. While McKay is back on Earth, he and Carter argue physics, go out for dinner, and work out an Ancient puzzle. This is a delightful fic that showcases the great chemistry between McKay and Carter.)

Down Came A Spider by Tipper

(McKay/Carter friendship. Carter makes a trip to Atlantis when McKay's life is in danger and she's the only other person in two galaxies who is smart enough to save him.)

Ex Gratia by otter

(Threesome. McKay/Sheppard/Carter. This might just sound like some kinky PWP, but this story is emotionally-charged and very well-written.)

Humour

Oblivious by [livejournal.com profile] astolat

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. McKay is convinced that he and Sheppard are in a relationship, though Sheppard takes a bit more time to come around. Oblivious!Rodney is just too funny!)

Rodney McKay's Scrapbook of Death by Moonloon ([livejournal.com profile] maryavatar)

(As the title states, this is Rodney McKay's Scrapbook of Death: a fascinating collection of the various death threats he's received over the years. It has to be seen to be believed!)

The Universe is Not Enough by [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Rodney McKay is a super spy for Canada. No, seriously. Didn't you know that Canada is trying to take over the universe?)

Men of Action by [livejournal.com profile] boochicken

(The team return from a mission with action figures of themselves. McKay is the only person who seems to think it's cool. Well, I think it's pretty cool too. Gave me a whole new respect and appreciation for my Enterprise action figures.)

Friendly Competition by [livejournal.com profile] siegeangels

(This fic is too funny! McKay and Weir start a little competition that soon gets out of hand.)

Missionary Position by [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone

(Post-ep "Allies". Slash. McKay/Sheppard. McKay comes up with a unique solution to save Ronon and himself on that hive ship.)

A Many-Splendored Thing by [livejournal.com profile] chelle and The Grrrl ([livejournal.com profile] thegrrrl2002)

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Rodney can't help getting excited by a new ZPM -- in more ways than one!)

Woobies of Woe by AbylityMaren

(A tiny orphan attaches herself to a horrified McKay and won't let go. However, it doesn't take long before McKay sees her potential…as a means of revenge against the rest of Atlantis!)

Inanimate by [livejournal.com profile] chelle

(McKay takes his responsibilities a tad bit too seriously when he looks after Beanie Sheppard.)

How Things Really Went Down After Doranda by [livejournal.com profile] lavvyan

(Post-ep "Trinity". Slash. McKay/Sheppard. I think this is the first (and possibly only) post-ep "Trinity" fic that wasn't filled with guilt and angst. In fact, I didn't think it was possible for anyone to write a funny post-ep "Trinity" story, but [livejournal.com profile] lavvyan succeeded. In spades!)

The Adventures of John Sheppard's Ridiculously Enormous Duvet by [livejournal.com profile] odsbodkins

(Slashy. McKay/Sheppard - with appearances by most of Atlantis. This story is funny, clever, and absolutely delightful! I had no idea that there could be so many uses for a duvet until I read this fic!)

A Bed Too Small by liketheriver ([livejournal.com profile] liketheriverrun)

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. This is impressive from both an artistic and comedy standpoint! Using screencaps from various episodes, liketheriver has created an absolutely hilarious comic strip about McKay and Sheppard's quest to find a bigger bed.)

A Mother's Love by liketheriver ([livejournal.com profile] liketheriverrun)

(McShep. Slash. Comic strip. Teyla's on the hunt for a father for her child and will go to just about lengths to find one! I didn't think it was possible, but this story may be even more hilarious than A Bed Too Small!)

SGA Sims 2 Theatre by [livejournal.com profile] ophidiae

(McShep. Slash. AUish. I actually made [livejournal.com profile] ophidiae's acquaintance on [livejournal.com profile] ebonlock LJ and found out about her wonderful SGA Sims 2 Theatre series when we were discussing fic. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I went to check out the link, so I was blown away when I saw the incredible images [livejournal.com profile] ophidiae had created using Sims 2. The stories themselves are also great, of course. I was quickly drawn into this strange and hilarious universe and read the entire series in one sitting. Even if you know nothing about Sims, you have to check this out!)

Scenes From a Courtship by [livejournal.com profile] pollitt and [livejournal.com profile] maverick4oz

(McShep. Slash. Ooooooh! Fic with action figures! Not only are the pictures fabulous, but the story is hilarious! This is definitely worth checking out!)

An Offer They Couldn't Refuse by [livejournal.com profile] pollitt and [livejournal.com profile] maverick4oz

(McShep. Slash. Sequel to Scenes From a Courtship that's even funnier in my opinion. Comes complete with bloopers as well as action figures!)

Stargate Atlantis Action Figure Theater: The Holiday Edition by [livejournal.com profile] wraithfodder

(In this hilarious fic involving an impressive cast of action figures, we learn how the Holidays are celebrated on Atlantis. This story is worth it for the Dalek and Devil Ducks alone!)

Stargate Atlantis Action Figure Theater: The Rescue! by [livejournal.com profile] wraithfodder

(Sequel to Stargate Atlantis Action Figure Theater: The Holiday Edition. I didn't think it was possible, but this is even funnier than the first story! It has to be seen to be believed!)

Stargate Atlantis Action Figure Theater: #601 “Attack of the Mallowans!” by [livejournal.com profile] wraithfodder

(Sequel to Stargate Atlantis Action Figure Theater: The Rescue!. While the series may have ended, the show goes on in plastic form! Set after "Enemy at the Gate," this fic is very funny but kinda gross. *g*)

Stargate Atlantis Action Figure Theater: #602 “Sunday, Bloody Valentine" by [livejournal.com profile] wraithfodder

(Sequel to Stargate Atlantis Action Figure Theater: #601 “Attack of the Mallowans!”. This special Valentine's Day episode of Action Figure Theater made up for a Valentine's Day in which I woke up sick and still, woefully, single. However, even if your Valentine's Day was filled with hearts and roses, this story is still worth checking out because it's just as hilarious as the previous episodes.)

Other Hewlett Roles

Grant in Atlantis by Sealie ([livejournal.com profile] jimandblair)

(I can't tell you how much I love this ongoing series! The premise behind these stories is that McKay and Grant Jansky (from Traders) are cousins, who practically look identical because their mothers were twins. Anyway, Sealie writes Grant extremely well, and Grant's relationship with both McKay and Sheppard is fascinating.)

Endless Road by Tarlan ([livejournal.com profile] tarlanx)

(Slash. SGA/Century Hotel crossover. Michael from Century Hotel becomes a drifter after being released from prison and meets Robert Sheppard when he hitches a ride.)

Endless Road 2: Choosing the Road by Tarlan ([livejournal.com profile] tarlanx)

(Slash. SGA/Century Hotel crossover. Sequel to Endless Road. John Sheppard makes contact with his grandfather, and McKay unexpectedly comes face to face with a relative of his own.)

Patrick's Desperate Plan To Stop His House Expanding And Its Unexpected But Ultimately Pleasant Result by [livejournal.com profile] toft_froggy

(Slash. SGA/A Dog's Breakfast crossover. I love A Dog's Breakfast, so I really should have recc'd this ages ago. In fact, I'm forced to confess that I didn't get around to reading (if you can call it that) this story until after I'd downloaded the podfic. In any case, this is very funny and extremely endearing. [livejournal.com profile] toft_froggy has done such a wonderful job of capturing Patrick's voice that this could almost work as a sequel to the film!)

Just 'Cause

These are stories I couldn't really slot into a category, but I wanted to rec them all the same.

Duet by rebecca ([livejournal.com profile] blueraccoon)

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Omigod! I love this story! Sheppard discovers a hidden side to McKay that McKay has worked hard to keep hidden.)

Side Effects by [livejournal.com profile] jane_elliot

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Heavy on the hurt/comfort. McKay is rendered impotent and can't deal with the situation until Sheppard reaches out to him and discovers what might be a cure.)

Place Your Hand by [livejournal.com profile] chelle

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Hurt/Comfort. While I'm not usually comfortable with stories dealing with rape, this is more about the aftermath and the recovery. [livejournal.com profile] chelle doesn't write long, tortured scenes on the subject, but focuses on the emotional repercussions instead. I really like this fic.)

Depth Perception by The Grrrl ([livejournal.com profile] thegrrrl2002)

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. McKay and Sheppard get trapped on a planet after their puddlejumper crashes. Unable to dial out until the gate is directly in line with their transmitter, they have to make do until they can return to Atlantis.)

Superheroes by saclateri

(McKay/Sheppard Friendship. Hurt/Comforty. McKay feels he should have done a better job getting Sheppard home after Sheppard is wounded on a mission. He may not be Superman, but there are times when he does wish to be a superhero.)

Harlequin Atlantis by Pookaseraph ([livejournal.com profile] pookaseraph)

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Atlantis has a would-be Harlequin writer hidden in its midst. McKay finds this amusing at first, but then becomes determined to discover the writer's identity when he ends up being the hero of one of the stories. And what more do I need to say? It's a fun read and very entertaining.)

MVP by Speranza ([livejournal.com profile] cesperanza)

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. McKay accesses Sheppard's files and doesn't like what he sees under the psychological evaluations. That's when McKay takes it into his head to protect Sheppard from himself. McKay's attempts to protect Sheppard lead to misunderstandings and some hilarious situations. As usual, Speranza delivers a wonderful blend of drama, humour, and stunning character insights.)

Judas Doesn't Answer by Auburn

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. Although I don't always go for the darker fics, this story drew me in because it was a mystery and I'm a sucker for those. Auburn pulled out all the stops with a juicy murder, long list of suspects. and a complex plot that kept twisting and turning. She didn't flinch from revealing the nastier side of some characters, and the portrayals were realistic, yet sympathetic, for the most part. And while the story is quite long, it certainly isn't boring. It will keep you guessing right up to (and including) the end!)

Superheroes by saclateri

(General. Hurt/Comfort. This is another story I've had on my hard drive for ages and really should have recommended before now. It's a premise I've come across before, but I just never seem to get tired of reading fics in which McKay questions his worth on the team. In this case, Sheppard has to convince McKay that it's okay that he's not a superhero.)

Ophthalmology by Pares

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. I first came across this story through podfic. In fact, if I'm going to be completely honest, I've never read this story, though I've listened to it twice. However, as the podcast has a couple of technical glitches, I decided to recommend the original fic itself. Anywaaaaay, the basic premise is that McKay needs glasses. However, that's only one component of this story in which the bond between McKay and Sheppard grows stronger and blossoms into a more intimate relationship.)

Athosian for Beginners by [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone

(General. McKay/Teyla friendship. While Teyla stories don't usually do much for me, I found this one very engaging -- and not just because of the moments between Teyla and McKay. I thought the premise of the Gate translation network going down was very clever, especially as the fic was from Teyla's POV and you really get the sense of alienation she felt at not being able to communicate through language. However, the story goes much deeper than that, which is why it works so well.)

MATCH GAME by [livejournal.com profile] ebonlock and [livejournal.com profile] moonlightnrain

(McShep. Teamficish. After a series of disastrous misunderstandings, Sheppard finally manages to get his message across to McKay. This fic appeals to me because I always enjoy McShep stories where signals get crossed and McKay gets all angry and hurt because he thinks Sheppard has done him wrong. In the case of MATCH GAME, Sheppard is basically trying to find a way to connect with Rodney and really struggling to get it right. It's both funny and sweet.)

Little Storms by Chandri MacLeod ([livejournal.com profile] chandri)

(McShep. Slash. McKay/Teyla friendship. McKay angers Sheppard when he refuses to follow an order during a very difficult and complicated situation. Fortunately, both Teyla and Ronon are willing to support McKay until Sheppard comes to his senses. And, yes, I'm a sucker for stories in which McKay and Sheppard fall out. However, in this instance, it isn't a simple case of black and white, and Sheppard's anger is understandable even if it's unjustified. In fact, I think all of the character reactions work very well.)

-.-. --- -. -. . -.-. - .. --- -. by [livejournal.com profile] mad_maudlin

(Genfic. McShep Friendship. After McKay loses his hearing and sight offworld, Sheppard manages to keep him from feeling isolated by using Morse code. This story is surprisingly funny and light-hearted given the fairly serious subject matter. It also shows the depth of McKay and Sheppard's friendship.)

My Home And Native Land by [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge

(Genfic. Ronon/Chuck Friendship -- with a number of appearances by McKay and Sheppard. Through his friendship with Chuck, Ronon learns all about Canada and gains a new cultural identity. I have to thank [livejournal.com profile] jackycomelately for sending me the link to this story. Not only does this fic have some wonderful Canadian trivia and in-jokes, but it shows the evolution of what might seem like an unlikely friendship between Ronon and Chuck.)

Podfics

Once Upon A Furry Octopus by [livejournal.com profile] skoosiepants and read by [livejournal.com profile] inkjunket

(I think [livejournal.com profile] inkjunket's reading is delightful. I actually laughed aloud at some parts.)

Once Bitten by [livejournal.com profile] lavvyan and read by [livejournal.com profile] temaris

(Boa vs. Python/Thoughtcrimes crossover. Strangely enough, I hadn't read this story before, so I found the podfic all the more interesting because I didn't know what to expect. I thought [livejournal.com profile] temaris did an excellent job building the suspense. I'd be happy to listen to more podfics read by her.)

MVP by Speranza ([livejournal.com profile] cesperanza) and read by [livejournal.com profile] zoetrope

([livejournal.com profile] zoetrope really brought this story to life. You could tell that she understood and genuinely admired the fic through this reading.)

#435, the Atlantis Local Stitch'n'Bitch Chapter by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock and read by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock

(I enjoyed this podfic so much that I listened to it a second time! I think it works as well as it does because [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock is reading her own story and, so, she understands the material and knows where all the little nuances should go. The pace and flow comes naturally because it's her own. Anyway, this podfic is hilarious and utterly delightful.)

Kid A by Speranza ([livejournal.com profile] cesperanza) and read by [livejournal.com profile] dodificus

(This is another example of why it pays to have a reader who understands the material and how the writer thinks. [livejournal.com profile] dodificus seems to pick up Speranza's sense of rhythm and timing almost naturally. More importantly, her reading keeps the story funny, moving and totally engaging.)

You're Pretty Good Looking (for a girl) by [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone and read by [livejournal.com profile] dodificus

(Apparently, [livejournal.com profile] dodificus is a master of deciphering [livejournal.com profile] trinityofone too! I just listened to this podfic yesterday and I was struck by how well [livejournal.com profile] dodificus portrayed all the characters, especially McKay, Sheppard and Cadman. She got all the sarcasm, dryness and humour that comes with these characters. I found her reading of this excellent story very entertaining.)

Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead by Speranza ([livejournal.com profile] cesperanza) and read by [livejournal.com profile] zoetrope

(Loved the story. Loved the podfic. It's been a while since I listened to this, but I remember how much I enjoyed it at the time. It kept me entertained while I was cleaning the Closet of Death, which is really saying something!)

A Farm in Iowa: A Farm in Iowa; And Then There Was Finn by [personal profile] sheafrotherdon and read by [livejournal.com profile] hack_benjamin22

(As I absolutely adore the Farm in Iowa universe, I was reluctant to listen to the podfic for "A Farm in Iowa" and "And Then There Was Finn" because I was afraid that it wouldn't be able to do these stories justice. However, I think [livejournal.com profile] hack_benjamin22 did a great job! These are both lengthy stories and, yet, I never got bored or distracted. And, like the podfic for "Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead," this story kept me suitably entertained while I was facing the cleaning project that was the Closet of Death.)

Secret SGA Christmas Podfic Anthology 2007 written by [livejournal.com profile] dogeared (Forecast), [livejournal.com profile] gblvr (Plain White Tee), [livejournal.com profile] thegrrrl2002 (A Midwinter Celebration), [livejournal.com profile] aesc (We're-Alive-And-Today-No-One's-Trying-To-Kill-Usmas), [livejournal.com profile] devildoll (Do You Know What I Know?), [livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon (Infuriating Bastard), and [livejournal.com profile] villainny (Christmas-esque Story). Read by [livejournal.com profile] the_oscar_cat

(I ended up listening to Secret SGA Christmas Podfic Anthology 2007 on the twelfth day of Christmas, while taking down my tiny tree, and I enjoyed all the stories immensely. They each had some seasonal relevance, but they weren't so dripping in sentimentality as to make them unbearable. They were charming and funny, especially with [livejournal.com profile] the_oscar_cat as the reader. I thought the holiday music [livejournal.com profile] the_oscar_cat provided was a nice touch and I absolutely loved the squeaky pig sound effect in [personal profile] sheafrotherdon's Infuriating Bastard, my favourite story in the collection.)

Catch-19 by [livejournal.com profile] chelle and read by [livejournal.com profile] torra

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. When the IOA decides it's going to replace Sheppard as the military commander of Atlantis, McKay comes up with a cunning plan that will allow Sheppard to stay. Considering that I enjoyed this podfic so much the first time that I listened to it again, I should really be recommending the original story too. However, I think [livejournal.com profile] torra manages to do Catch-19 justice with her wonderful reading.)

Time in a Bottle by [livejournal.com profile] astolat and read by Issaro

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. I have to confess that it took me some time to get used to Issaro's voice, but once I did I really enjoyed her reading of Time in a Bottle, which is important considering that this is a fairly long fic. In any case, Issaro manages to capture the various emotional nuances and touches of humour that are so integral to this story.)

Conduct Unbecoming by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock and read by [livejournal.com profile] hellpenguin

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. An entertaining reading of this very entertaining fic. I had somehow missed reading Conduct Unbecoming, so finding this podfic was a very pleasant discovery.)

Bang Written and read by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock

(Slash. McKay/Sheppard. It's a rare pleasure to have a writer read her own work. Given [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock's obvious familiarity with Bang, she knew exactly how this story should be read.)

Mile marker thirty-six by [livejournal.com profile] bluespirit_star and read by [livejournal.com profile] pennyplainknits

(Slash. McShep. This was my first introduction to Mile marker thirty-six and [livejournal.com profile] pennyplainknits' excellent reading of the story made cleaning seem almost entertaining.)

Patrick's Desperate Plan To Stop His House Expanding And Its Unexpected But Ultimately Pleasant Result by [livejournal.com profile] toft_froggy and read by [livejournal.com profile] general_jinjur

(Slash. A Dog's Breakfast/SGA Crossover. And here's another story I was introduced to through podfic. I highly recommend [livejournal.com profile] general_jinjur's reading as she seems to possess a naturally dry and ironic tone that works exceptionally well for comedy. She also did a terrific job of finding Patrick's voice and figuring out what makes him tick.)

An Inaccurate Telling by [livejournal.com profile] chelle and TheGrrrl ([livejournal.com profile] thegrrrl2002) and read by [livejournal.com profile] pennyplainknits

(Slash. McShep. This humourous story is told wonderfully by [livejournal.com profile] pennyplainknits. I especially like the way she reads Rodney McKay.)

Fat My Dust by Speranza ([livejournal.com profile] cesperanza) and read by [livejournal.com profile] rhea314

(Slash. McShep. A rather professional-sounding reading by [livejournal.com profile] rhea314 of what has no doubt become one of the classic fics of this fandom. The sound quality is also surprisingly good for podfic.)

Plan C, or How Rodney McKay Lost His Wife and Gained a Galaxy written and read by [livejournal.com profile] toomuchplor

(Slash. McShep. Once again, we see the advantage of having a writer read her own work. [livejournal.com profile] toomuchplor knows how the story should sound and understands where to place all the subtle nuances. And she certainly knows how to inject the right degree of humour into this recording.)

Great job! I'll have to see what I've missed! It was fun to go through and be reminded of all the terrific works out there. I look forward to using it as a reference. That must have been a lot of work!

Great job! I'll have to see what I've missed!

Why, thank you! I'm so glad you like it! :-) I hope you do find some stories you might not have come across before, or maybe some fic you'd like to re-read.

It was fun to go through and be reminded of all the terrific works out there.

Yes, I found it fun to compile the list for that very reason. Sometimes you forget everything that's out there, especially if you haven't re-read some of the older stories in a while.

I look forward to using it as a reference. That must have been a lot of work!

Oh, good! I was hoping that someone (other than me) would find it useful. There's probably a number of stories that I could and should add and I'm going to make an effort to update the recs list on a sort of semi-regular basis. Thankfully, now that the main foundation has been laid, it should be easy to add links. And, yes, it was a lot of work. I'm embarrassed to admit how many hours I spent on it. In fact, I kind of lost track! *g*

Wow. You must have put a lot of effort into these lists. It's interesting to see how many I have read, and how many I have no recollection of reading.
Interesting vids list.

Wow. You must have put a lot of effort into these lists.

I actually thought of you when I decided to put these lists together, as you have a rec list of your own. :-) Yes, it did take a lot of effort, but hopefully it will be worth it. Of course, I've already thought of a few fics I should have included and forgot about. If I have time this weekend, I'll add them.

It's interesting to see how many I have read, and how many I have no recollection of reading.

It's possible I managed to rec a couple you haven't seen before. Of course, if you're like me, you sometimes forget whether you've read a fic until you start re-reading it. I hope you'll find something you'd like to read or re-read.

Interesting vids list.

Uh, I hope that's "interesting" in a good way. *g*

Yeah, because some of them weren't ones I'd seen. I really found it interesting that some of my faves weren't on the list to be honest. Our vid tastes may be quite different, which is good, because I'll get exposed to ones I may not have watched (or just plain missed) thanks to you! :)

I hope you'll find something you'd like to read or re-read.
At this moment in time, I've found a new love. It's called Supernatural, so I'm gorging myself with Supernatural fics at the moment. I am so going to the Special Hell when I die ;).

Oh, okay. That's good to know. I'm glad you're finding some vids you haven't come across before. I think the majority of my vid choices fall under the humour category at the moment. However, there are some less comical songvids I quite like, so I'll have to add some links to those if I can find them.

I hope you'll find something you'd like to read or re-read.

At this moment in time, I've found a new love. It's called Supernatural, so I'm gorging myself with Supernatural fics at the moment. I am so going to the Special Hell when I die ;).

Uh, oh! Supernatural is a dangerous fandom to fall into! Once it gets a serious hold of you, it doesn't seem to let go! I'm a fan myself, though it hasn't become one of my obsessions. As I'm a one-fandom-at-a-time kind of girl (or "monogamous" as one friend describes it), I'm unable to commit. *g*

Well, I hope you find tons of Supernatural fic to gorge on. From what I've heard, there's quite a lot out there. I think I still have links for a few fics a friend recc'd, though you may have come across the stories already.

Your recs are wonderful ♥

THANK YOU.

Do you have any idea where I can find this story:

"Hostage by danvers", the author's site seems to be down. x_X

Well, thank you very much, [livejournal.com profile] xtainted_blackx! It's nice to know that someone else has found these recs useful! :-)

I'm happy to say that I've just found a link for Hostage (http://01100100.fanfib.org/fanfiction/sga/five/au2.html) through SGA Crossroads (http://sga.fictionresource.com/index.php). I'll try to update the link for Hostage (http://01100100.fanfib.org/fanfiction/sga/five/au2.html) in my AU section today.

I plan to update my recs soon. I'll try to remember to email you when I do so.
