rusty_armour | New Robin of Sherwood Novelization

For any RoS fans who haven't heard, Spiteful Puppet/Chinbeard Books is releasing their first novelization based on their Robin of Sherwood audio adventures. At the moment, the book is available for pre-order. This first book is based on The Meeting Place audio adventure, which was also a part of the recent Robin of Sherwood -- A New Adventure box set. The great thing about the novelization is that you can order it outside the UK. It's a limited edition paperback.

I really enjoyed the audio adventure, but it is very Much-centric, with only Much (Peter Llewellyn Williams) and a couple of original characters -- not that there's anything wrong with that. However, for £8.99, I really can't justify the purchase. That's about $20 CDN (before shipping and handling). If money wasn't tight, I'd be tempted because the book looks beautiful and would be a welcome addition to my bookshelf. Oh, well. I've got the audio adventure, which suits me just fine. :-)

There are two more titles that are going to be released in the near future. One is based on Sanctuary and the other is based on The Red Lord. I haven't heard either of these audio adventures, but I may not be able to resist the novelization for The Red Lord. I'll have to see what my finances are like when the book is published.
