My Fic Has Spawned Fan Art!

I know this isn't going to mean much to anyone who isn't me, but I'm thrilled to announce that In the Family Way has inspired vonnix to create an icon using one of Andrew's lines from the story! As this is the first (and probably only) piece of fan art this fic has spawned, I just had to share it:

*Blushes* Thank you kindly! I'm really happy you've been enjoying it! :-) I'm hoping to post 7(b) by the end of February at the latest. At the rate I'm going, I'm guessing it will be around 11:59 pm on the 29th. *g*

Well, I was very touched and flattered that you would choose to design an icon around a line in my fic, so it was really you who did me a favour by allowing me to post it here in the first place. :-)

I love In the Family Way. And the icon is perfect.

Oh, and vonnix, I love the Daniel Jackson icon. I can just see him saying that to Jack. Of course, Jack would keep calling them rocks simply because it would bug Daniel. BTW, Jack is my favourite character on the show. The chemistry between the two of them is off the scale.

Okay. I'm very happy to abide by your decision. :-) And, yes, the new icon works very well for that line. I also agree with you about the Daniel Jackson icon. It's a great design and it does sound like something Daniel would say to Jack!

Yes, the line works surprisingly well for an icon. And it's something I didn't even take into account when writing the scene. From now on, I'll really have to consider a line's potential as a good icon before setting it to paper. *g*

Thank you! As I'm sure you noticed, I'm pretty excited about it! :-) The prospect of minions is also very exciting, but, like a bright star that shines in the far off fandom heavens, it's probably unattainable. Still, a girl can dream. *g*
