I returned from my parents' yesterday afternoon and, to the misfortune of all, I figured out how to transfer pictures from my digital camera to my computer. I also managed to break the two front wheels on my desk unit when I was moving it, so now I've got two telephone books jammed under the desk unit instead of wheels. However, we won't go into that...

My mom really gets into the spirit of the Holidays when she's decorating, so there were lots of photo ops for the boys -- something my family found rather disturbing for some reason.

The boys in the Dickens Village.

Even Minerva got involved in the pictures...

These were actually two of the more tasteful pictures.

Ahhhh! Isn't that romantic?

Uh...I got a bit silly after that...

There was beer involved.

Well, at least the boys were willing to pose. You wouldn't believe how difficult it was to get my other subjects to cooperate!

I was able to catch my parents when they were trying to capture me, while the
picture of Uncle G was snapped when he was coming through the door.

I could get Mom when she was showing off her new housecoat, but I needed to enlist
Minerva and a pepper mill to distract Danna long enough to take his picture.

My siblings were obviously foolish enough to think that I would take flattering pictures of them. *g*

With Hamish, some coercion was necessary, while the turkey wasn't really in a position to argue...

The element of surprise seemed to work best with Oakley and Minerva.

Uh...the squirrel was looking for his daily supply of breadcrumbs, which Mom provides in exchange for entertaining for the cats.

Gee, I wonder how people got through the Holidays before digital cameras were invented! *g*

haha, your mad :-P Looks like you had fun. Does your family know you've posted their photo's all over the net?

Glad to see you had a good Christmas. Hope New Year's is just as good. Maybe some New Year photo's would be funny

Yes, just a bit, though I'm pretty sure insanity runs in the family... *g*

Does your family know you've posted their photo's all over the net?

Well, I just sent an email to my mom breaking the news. My dad thinks the internet is evil, so he'll have to hear it from someone else. After this, I'll give a shout out to my siblings on Facebook.

Glad to see you had a good Christmas. Hope New Year's is just as good. Maybe some New Year photo's would be funny

Yes, my Christmas was very good. I hope you had a great Christmas too -- and your New Year's will be just as nice! :-) I'll be spending New Year's Eve with two friends of mine, so I'll have to see if I can get them a bit tipsy and snap some pictures then. *g*

OMG, Hamish is HUGE! It looks like he swallowed that entire turkey, with the squirrel for dessert. I wonder which weighed more, the turkey or that cat?

Looks like plastic McShep had an excellent Xmas in Scarberia. Will these seasonal adventures work their way into "In the Family Way"?

*Almost spews out Diet Coke* LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! Well, I carried the turkey to the oven for my mom and it was pretty heavy. However, unlike Hamish, the turkey didn't struggle, so it was definitely easier to wield. Yeah, with the addition of the flailing furry limbs, I'd say that Hamish was heavier than the turkey.

Oh, man. As tempting as it sounds, I don't think I'll be able to work the plastic McShep seasonal adventures into "In the Family Way". For one thing, the story will probably be ending before Christmas falls in that universe -- despite how long it's dragged on so far! *g*
