Twenty-five years ago today, I broke my leg skating. As the event was kind of traumatic, the date has remained lodged in my brain. Once my leg healed, I did go skating again, but only once because I was so afraid of falling that I didn't derive much pleasure from it. I tripped this morning on the way to work, but I didn't fall or so much as bruise my leg. I hope this positive trend continues.

LOL! I see. No, I can't think why Edgar Allan Poe would make you think of Gulnar either. *g*

It is kind of spooky that Edgar would have been 175 on the day of my skating accident. I wonder if there were any other auguries in play on that fateful day...
