Reply to this meme by yelling "words!", and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your journal and explain what they mean to you. Keep in mind that if I don't know you that well, your words might end up kind of esoteric/oblique.

Meme and words were supplied by [livejournal.com profile] crew4.

Paganism: I don't have a religion, but if I had to choose one then I think there's a good chance it would be paganism. I've always felt drawn to nature, so it's hard not to respect a faith that finds spirituality and meaning in the natural world. And, from what I've seen of paganism, it isn't a religion that tries to control people's lives or enforce a particular set of rules.

Cats: Quite possibly the most noble animals in creation. I simply adore them and couldn't imagine life without them. My parents had cats before I was even born and their house has never been without at least two or three of them. In fact, I seem to have inherited some kind of cat gene as my mom's side of the family is completely cat mad. *g*

Family: A necessary evil...? Just kidding. I returned last night after spending a few days with my immediate family, so today is a welcome return to peace and relative sanity. *g* However, as with cats, I can't picture my life without my family. Hell, I don't know how I could possibly cope without them. I guess you could say that they're pretty much everything.

RoS Archive: A big surprise. I first started the site because I wanted to collect as many Robin of Sherwood stories in one place as possible. I originally thought I'd be lucky to archive twenty stories. Now, the site has over 150 stories. I think it's wonderful that fans are still interested in reading and writing RoS fic after all these years.

Fandom: Feels like coming home. I always felt like an oddball when I was a kid and I don't think I ever really fit in anywhere -- not entirely and not until I discovered other geeks. In terms of my own geek-uality, fandom has played a huge role. I have an obsessive personality and that obsessive personality is almost always drawn to TV, movies, and books. When I first started going on the Internet, I realized that there were other people who were equally invested in fandom and that it wasn't something they were ashamed of. Over the years, I've made a number of good friends through various fandoms. I think fandom not only unifies fans but allows people the freedom to explore their creativity and, most importantly, their inner geek.

I don't have a religion either, and have to say that after all the time I spend out in my garden I'm really leaning towards your views.

You're definitely a nature lover and I'm sure you wouldn't have any problem finding spirituality in your beautiful garden -- if you haven't found it already.

I inherited that gene too. ;) Cats=Love

Yes, that definitely sums it up. :-)

And how happy and thankful we are that you decided to start the Archive!

I'm happy to hear it. The Archive has been a labour of love. :-)

Fandom is a wonderful unifier, isn't it? I've made so many awesome friends through fandom, you included. ♥ :)

Well, thank you! Of course, you're also a friend I met through fandom. :-)

Oh, and don't give me words, [livejournal.com profile] crew4 already did, I just haven't done the meme yet. :P

Ah, yes. I thought you'd also received a list of words from [livejournal.com profile] crew4. I'm looking forward to reading your meme when you post it. :-)
