Glasses! I've Got New Glasses! Check Out My New Glasses!

After an embarrassingly long time, I finally got my act together and looked into renewing my prescription and getting new glasses. I think the entire process (from booking an eye exam to picking up my glasses) took about two weeks, which is pretty good considering that the woman at Sears Optical told me it would take 8-10 days for my glasses to come in. It ended up taking about half that time, which is why I was able to pick them up today instead of some time next week. Anywaaaaaay, here's what's allowing me to see sharp edges again:

more flattering with that round pale blob that is my face.

I love the new glasses. The cutouts on the earpiece look very chic.

This is the first time I've seen a picture of you. I had always pictured you older and with short, curly hair. Then again, I've never been correct when picturing someone so don't read too much into it.

The glasses suit you very well. Please let us know if they help the migraines.

Well, I've been told that I look younger than my age, so I may be older than I appear. My hair is also a bit longer than I'd normally have it. I'm going to get it cut in about a week. Lastly, with all this humidity, my hair has been looking kind of curly, so you're not as far off as you'd think. *g*

Thanks again, njc2007. :-) I'll keep you posted on the migraine situation. They won't get rid of them entirely because I always get a bad one once a month during my period and stress also seems to be a trigger at times. However, I think it might prevent the ones triggered by eye strain.
