Rose Tyler
Rose Tyler
Take Which Doctor Who companion are you? (girls) today!
Created with Rum and Monkey's Personality Test Generator.

You're Rose Tyler!

You are spunky, determined, and as religiously devoted to your Doctor as you are to chips. (He's the only one who doesn't know how sweet you are on him, too.) You never stay put when you're told to stay put, but just when everyone expects you to get roasted by the monster of the week, you turn right around and figure out the mystery. You're sharp as a tack, but also sensitive, knowing when the Doctor needs someone to back him up or when he just needs a hand to hold. He seems to think he can get rid of you... you're quick to show him he's wrong!

I am so glad I'm terrible at maths. It will probably mean that I won't get the most annoying Brainy Smurf of all companions.

Here's my Rose description:

"You are feisty, because lazy TV writers cannot think of another adjective to describe any female character with more personality than a doormat. You've got a family, friends and a sometimes-boyfriend. Also, you've developed a romantic interest in a good-looking, brilliant, time-travelling sugar daddy. None of this should seem revolutionary or offensive, but by the standards of former companions and expectations of certain fans, it is. You've got great chemistry and tension with the 9th Doctor, but you were so sympatico with the 10th that you formed your own little club and seemed slightly insufferable. Relax and enjoy your retirement in that alternate universe and people will remember your good qualities."

And you (I mean you, Rusty) are a billion times greater than Peri.

Allen

LOL! I love your Rose description! And thanks for thinking I'm better than Peri. While I can't stand Peri, I think that saying I'm a billion times greater might be a bit of an exaggeration. A million is probably more accurate. *g*

LOL. I never would have guessed you were Rose! That's the result I got the first time, but I didn't think that was right, so I had to try again. And again. On the third try I had a more reasonable result. :)

No, I don't see myself as a Rose either. If I were less reserved and soft-spoken, I think I'd be closer to Donna. *g* Well, with tests like this one, you're automatically lumped in a certain category based on numbers alone. I probably could have gotten Donna if I picked the answers that sounded most like her. However, I was trying to respond honestly.

BTW I don't think Rose would be a huge stretch for you. You're very intelligent and sensitive, which are two Rose traits. :-)

Thanks.:) I'm not really like Donna either, but I thought it would be a bit more likely. Of course I haven't seen anything of Amy yet, so I don't know how appropriate she would be. Is there anyone who's more quiet and shy? I liked Martha, but I'm nothing like her. In any case, I don't think any Doctor would choose me as his companion. If he did he'd probably get tired of me right away, for trying to save all animals I ran into, and maybe falling in love and insist on bringing my boyfriend along... Still, I'd love to live in the TARDIS (if I could bring my entire family and my books and stuff...) LOL

I seem to remember Nyssa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyssa_(Doctor_Who)) being rather quiet, though she wasn't really shy. I can't remember if this came up in canon, but I wouldn't be surprised if she had a soft spot for animals. She did end up leaving the Doctor in order to turn a space station into a hospital and free enslaved guards, so there's a noble humanitarian streak in her.

If it makes you feel any better, I can't see the Doctor choosing me as a companion either. He'd probably pat me on the shoulder and say I was needed more on Earth. *g*

I'd never heard of Nyssa before. The first Doctor I saw was Nine. But Nyssa definitely seems a bit more like me. I guess I wouldn't make a very interesting character, but that's probably more comfortable anyway. Adventures seem a lot better when you read about them (or watch them on tv).

Well, snap, Rusty, I'm a Rose too. (Although I didn't think my answers sounded very Rose-like.)

Small world, eh? *g* Like you, I didn't think my answers sounded very Rose-like either, so I'm not sure how I ended up being her.

I'm sorry I haven't answered your emails yet. I started answering the first message yesterday and got side-tracked. I'll try to answer it tonight.

No rush to answer the e-mails. They were really just a cathartic debriefing on my part after the overwhelming social whirl of the weekend. It's enough to know the missives were received with a supportive and sympathetic ear/eye at the other end. LOL

I can assure you that your missives were received with a supportive and sympathetic ear/eye at this end. It's just my fingers that seemed unwilling to cooperate, as I didn't finish typing my reply. *g*

Yeah, I just saw that on my flist (and will respond a bit later). Based on the description, Susan really doesn't sound like you. So far, it seems like the only people who agree with their results are the ones who have gotten Donna Noble. Oh, wait. I had one friend (the friend I took this meme from) who was Sarah Jane. I don't think she had any problems with that.

Crap! I got her too. WTF? I can't say that I'm that fond of her to be honest. I'm much more of a Donna fan.
Oh well. Great minds think alike?

I have nothing against Rose, but I don't think I'm anything like her. I'm going to go with your theory on the subject -- that great minds think alike! *g*
