I guess going with the name "Claire" would be kind of egotistical. *g*

And 'Mine!' would be downright despotic *hee*

Just blame it on the B52s, they started the Planet Claire movement.

Anyway, still campaigning for that "Bob" planet. ;D

Not really......... ..... .......

;)

Maybe if it was a star, or had an atmosphere full of gas that tinged it a light or bright colour, considering the meaning of your name.

I did think of you when I saw that.

I say - Go for it!

Yes, the B52s have a lot to answer for, including "Planet Claire". Hmm...I wonder if someone will come up with a Writer's Block question involving "Rock Lobster" next:

If you had your very own lobster would you want it to be a Rock Lobster or would you want it to pursue some other career?

Anyway, still campaigning for that "Bob" planet. ;D

Get someone to write a song about it. That might help. ;-)

Ooooooh! Good point! Yes, the name "Claire" would be totally justified if we were dealing with a star or a planet exhibiting characteristics that made it light or bright. :-)

That's so sweet of you, especially considering that most people probably thought of the B-52s when they saw it. I think I will go for it -- if I do manage to discover my own planet. ;-)

I also thought of you when I first saw it. What a lovely name for a planet! It sounds like a bright cheerful planet. We'd have to ban humans from setting foot on it.

That's very kind. Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] karen9. :-)

I hope it would be bright and cheerful. And I totally agree with banning humans from visiting it if we're going to keep it that way. The only exception might be scientific teams conducting research, but that would be it.

I knew you'd like that. ;) Actually, that's not a bad name at all. A bright, shining planet.

It's only because of the B-52s song - honest. *g* I'm glad you think it's a good name for a bright, shining planet. Now we just need someone (preferably a B-52s fan) to discover said bright, shining planet.
