Earlier in the week I remembered "Oh, 1 July it's Canada Day again!" and then I got so busy I forgot all about it. *g* Anyways - have a good one! :D Any special activities planned?
Well, it was very sweet of you to remember in the first place! :-) I spent the day with my family, but I didn't really do anything other than that. We all drank bottles of Molson Canadian with dinner, so it was a proper Hoser meal, eh? *g*
Happy Canada Day! May your Mounties be strong and courageous, your poutine extra tasty ;) and ....... I've run out of cliches. My apologies. Day 6/6 today. I'm knackered. I sincerely wish you a great day full of celebration, fun and food!
Beauty, eh? Your Canuck cliches are awesome! :-) We didn't have any poutine, but we did drink beer with dinner, so that was absurdly Canadian. We even had strawberry shortcake, which, naturally, was red and white. *g* Anywaaaaaay, it was a great day full of fun and delicious food! :-)
I hope you have a chance to rest and recover after working six days straight. No wonder you're knackered!

Date: 2011-07-02 07:43 pm (UTC)Don't worry about it. I think many Canadians consider this a weekend-long celebration, so I would argue that you didn't forget. :-)
I'm glad you had a good day with your family.
Thank you very much,
