This is a quick shout out to the Supernatural fans on my flist. funkyinfishnet has written a brilliant story about Chuck and Becky called The Word Is With God (And Becky). It's funny and wonderfully complex. And both Chuck and Becky are so in-character. In fact, I'd say that funkyinfishnet's version of Becky is damn near perfect. So do yourselves a favour and check out The Word Is With God (And Becky). You won't regret it!

Thanks so much for this rec!! Made me so nostalgic for that point in our show, as the Apocolypse was nigh, and we had no idea how are beloved characters would fare. It also gives me ideas for what could be, in the current season. Loved it!

I think you're absolutely right about the nostalgia factor. It does take place during a crucial period of the show. And, as you also pointed out, it provides possible scenarios for what could happen in the current season. We've already seen Becky again, so who's to say that Chuck won't put in an appearance and lend the Winchesters a hand?

That would be great, as we still don't know for sure about Bobby's fate. I really don't like the fact that the boys are alone, with no allies, apparently. :(
