As I'll be seeing [livejournal.com profile] njc2007 and [livejournal.com profile] lazigyrl in less than a week, I decided to choose "Log Driver's Waltz" as this year's Canada Day vid. I know [livejournal.com profile] njc2007 is very fond of it -- as all Canadians should be!

As is often the case, I don't have any plans for Canada's birthday. I'm hoping to go to Edwards Gardens this afternoon and maybe I'll work Due South or a David Hewlett movie into my viewing schedule for a bit of Cancon. Yeah, okay. I'm a totally crappy Canuck. *g*

You are ahead of me on the celebration, though I could argue that I've watched something made in Canada, even if it isn't Canadian per se. :)

Well, I think that kinda counts. There would have been a Canadian film crew and I'm guessing a lot of the actors would have been Canadian as well. :-)

I love the Log Driver's Waltz. Possibly because my grandfather (my mom's dad) was a logger. I never met him, he died the year I wsa born (interesting fact: her mom died the year my brother was born).

Oh, cool! It's great that your grandfather was a logger. I'm sorry you never had a chance to meet him. And I didn't think of it at the time, but my paternal grandfather used to work in a logging camp in his teens.

Oh, I've been doing some OHIP homework, that's Canadian.

If you were doing OHIP homework, I think you win. *g*
